We have had a great time out visiting all S2 pupils in every Secondary School in Dundee over the last 3 weeks, in partnership with Dundee and Angus College as part of The NHS schools Dance tour "How We Feel". Pupils were treated to an exciting live performance by an amazing cast of HNC Dance students from The Space, where they explored important topics, shining a light on the struggles faced by young people and how they can get support. The main message was the importance of talking to someone about how they feel. During the 26 performances (catered to around 60 x S2 pupils per performance) the pupils also took part in some games and movement workshops led by Gillian Pack (Active Schools) and the Dance Students, exploring parts of the show. We were all really impressed by the pupils input and enthusiasm!
Huge thanks to all the partners, school staff school nurses, education team, NHS team, College lecturers, Tech Team, BA Students and all the other amazing organisations who were involved in this vital project which has been running in schools for over 20years!
